Products Description
DIN-standard industrial graphite sheets, along with graphite foil, paper, tape, and strip, are advanced sealing materials manufactured from natural graphite flakes via a two-stage process: chemical intercalation and thermal expansion. This produces exfoliated graphite structures with a bulk density of approximately 0.003g/cc. The expanded graphite is then compressed into rolls or sheets without binders, ensuring a purity level exceeding 99.8% and compliance with DIN EN 13555 for sealing applications.
-
Material Purity
- Meets DIN 52900 standards for ash content (<0.2%) and sulfur content (<0.1%).
- Free of halogenated compounds, aligning with DIN EN 61249-2-21 for electronic applications.
-
Thermo-Mechanical Properties
- Thermal stability from -200°C to +3000°C (DIN EN 1356 standard).
- Compressive strength of 50-80 MPa (DIN EN 13555) with <3% creep relaxation under 100 bar pressure.
-
Dimensional Accuracy
- Width tolerance: ±0.5mm for 1000mm/1500mm rolls (DIN EN 13555).
- Thickness uniformity: ±5% for 0.15-5mm sheets (DIN EN ISO 4784).
-
Flange Sealing
- Used in ASME B16.5/DIN EN 1092-1 flange connections, providing leak-tight seals for gas, liquid, and slurry pipelines.
- Composite variants with stainless steel inserts meet DIN EN 15149-2 for pressure equipment.
-
Valve & Pump Seals
- Graphite packing rings for valves comply with DIN 3352, ensuring reliability in oil refineries and chemical plants.
- Self-lubricating properties reduce friction in pumps adhering to DIN 24256 standards.
-
High-Temperature Insulation
- Thick plates (1.0-5mm) used in furnace doors and heat exchangers, meeting DIN 1709 for thermal insulation.
- Sizes:
- Rolls: 1000mm/1500mm width, 30m/50m/80m length.
- Sheets: 1000mm x 1500mm, thicknesses 0.15-5mm.
- Density: 0.8-1.25g/cm³ (customizable per DIN EN 13555).
- Surface Finish: Smooth (<Ra 0.8μm) or textured for specific grip requirements (DIN 4768).
- Certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN 14576 for environmental management.
- Tested by TÜV for flame resistance (DIN 4102 B1) and chemical compatibility (DIN 53438).
- Available with full traceability documentation in compliance with DIN EN 10204 3.1B.
- Precision Engineering: Laser-cutting ensures ±0.1mm dimensional accuracy for complex shapes.
- Cost Efficiency: Reduces maintenance costs by 40% compared to traditional materials in continuous operation.
- Global Support: On-site installation guidance provided by engineers certified to DIN 66023.
