Products Description
1500°F Rated Flexible Graphite Gaskets
Flexible graphite products include sheets, foils, papers, tapes, and strips. These materials are produced through chemical intercalation of natural flake graphite followed by thermal exfoliation, forming worm-like structures with approximately 0.003g/cm³ density. The binder-free expanded graphite is rolled into coils, offering:
- 99.5%+ purity
- Chemical inertness
- Radiation resistance
- Thermal stability (-400°F to +1500°F)
- Compression recovery up to 40%
- Self-lubricating properties
- Gas-tight sealing performance
Ideal for high-temperature applications, these coils can be laminated with metal substrates to create composite materials.
Product Applications:
- Core material for high-temperature packing rings
- Composite sheets for die-cut gaskets in industrial machinery
- Thick plates for furnace insulation and flange seals
- Sealing components for valves operating at extreme temperatures
