As a general guideline, we recommend choosing the thinnest sheet that meets your application requirements. These gasket sheets are constructed with two layers of pure, flexible graphite sheets sandwiching a 0.2 - 0.25mm perforated metal insert. The metal insert is typically 0.2 - 0.25mm carbon steel, also known as tinplate. However, we also offer alternative options such as ss201, 304, and 316. You can select from different carbon contents, including 95%, 97%, 98%, and 99%, to suit your specific needs.
